Oldham Vs U's - Durham's Preview Fri 21st Sep 2018 19:04
JM takes his high-flying (deservedly so) charges to Boundary Park (also now known as the SportsDirect.comPark) on Saturday for a challenging and important League Two fixture. So far this season I have been to Notts County, Mansfield and Tranmere, on paper all challenging games. All three resulted in draws and with the well-earned win at Cheltenham, we can certainly approach this game in good spirits.

After a well-deserved point at Prenton Park last weekend, JM and his charges entertain Cambridge United in a local derby at the JobServe Community Stadium. They will be looking to keep their good run going against former favourite Joe Dunne’s team, who are currently occupying 19th position in the league with 7 points.
Tranmere 1 U's 1 - Durham's View Mon 10th Sep 2018 09:44
My third away match this season and another draw, but a point was the least that we deserved. Now I have previously ranted about the traffic conditions on the A1/M1 earlier this season when travelling to Nottingham and Mansfield but yesterday it was the sleepy market town of Kirkby Stephen that cost me a one-hour delay after the closure of the A66 due to essential repairs and maintenance. This meant that with further delays through Aintree my son and I arrived almost 30 minutes late for the game.
Cheltenham Vs U's - Durham's Preview Fri 31st Aug 2018 20:04
John McGreal takes his charges to the Jonny Rocks Stadium for the second time this season to play Cheltenham Town. Things have changed for the Gloucestershire club since that Carabao Cup match with a new manager since Gary Johnson’s sacking. Russ Milton is the caretaker boss and he has added to his ranks with 32-year-old striker Tyrone Barnett on loan from Port Vale. Cheltenham also picked up a useful victory at Cambridge last weekend. All of which proves that any team can defeat any other in league two this season.
Mansfield 1 U's 1 - Durham's View Sun 19th Aug 2018 12:41
Driving to Nottingham from Durham is not to be recommended on a Saturday at the present time. First the journey to Notts County cost me an extra hour because of congestion. Yesterday I had a lunch engagement with Gerry at the Pizza Hut prior to the game and consequently set off at 1020hrs, anticipating some delay but I did not arrive at the stadium until 2pm. The A1 in North Yorkshire and at Barnsdale Bar and then the section of the M1 after the M18 were all traffic blackspots with delays, minor accidents and frankly poor lane discipline all conspired to make me miss my Pizza Hut meal! (Other restaurants are available).
U's Vs Port Vale - Durham's Preview Sat 11th Aug 2018 11:02
John McGreal will start his charges in their first home encounter against Port Vale at the newly sponsored JobServe stadium following an excellent performance and draw at Notts County on the opening day.
Notts County Vs U's - Durham's Preview Sat 04th Aug 2018 08:48
The fixture computer has once again been unkind towards Colchester United, as we once again start and finish with Away matches and this season we begin at Meadow Lane against Notts County on August 4th, 2018 and finish at Sincil Bank against Lincoln City on May 4th, 2019.
Exeter Vs U's - Durham's Preview Fri 04th May 2018 16:13
John McGreal takes his charges to St James’s Park Exeter on Saturday to play the Grecians who are already assured of a Play Off Spot, their automatic promotion was finally extinguished after a 3-1 defeat to Stevenage last weekend. However, depending on results on the final day they could finish anywhere from 4th to 7th, with a consequent change of opponent in the Play Off semi-finals.
Stevenage Vs U's - Durham's Preview Sat 24th Mar 2018 09:45
After the latest woeful display on Tuesday evening JM takes his seriously confidence bereft charges to the Lamex to take on Stevenage Borough, now managed by Dino Maamria.
